Bro. Chris grew up in Paxton, FL and has spent the last fourteen years teaching and coaching at Paxton School. Before coming to First Baptist Florala, he served as a worship and youth leader for thirteen years, and then as bi-vocational pastor for four years. His emphasis for the church is for it to be missionaly minded right here in Florala, as well as to the nations to win people to Christ through faithful, personal evangelism.
Bro. Chris is currently pursuing a Master's in Pastoral Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Bro. Chris married his wife Katy in 2010, and they have three beautiful daughters, Raeleigh, Lila, and Allie, that keep them on their toes. He loves to watch the Atlanta Braves and Auburn Tigers, and when time allows, to play a little golf and chase turkeys through the woods.
